Our modern artsy Eco-house is themed around heritage NZ domestic life and copper yet has state-of-the-art designer features. Nestled on 7 private acres and commanding a stunning view across beautiful Seaton Valley to the sea and mountains beyond, the house has an ultra-modern kitchen, an open-plan lounge/dining area, quality furniture (including great beds), local/NZ art and French doors opening onto decks and SPACE.
With tame sheep and chickens plus paddocks to roam, this is a nature/country fix whilst world-famous wineries, the renowned Māpua Wharf, beaches and cycleways are right on the doorstep.

Full kitchen - a "chef's delight" as one visitor extolled. All you would expect from a modern, well-equipped kitchen. BBQ too. However, Nelson's best restaurants are just a 4 minute drive away on the Mapua Wharf.

Commanding a stunning view across the farmlet to beautiful Seaton Valley to the sea and mountains beyond, Copper Gate has an ultra-modern kitchen, an open-plan lounge/dining area, quality furniture (including great beds), local/NZ art and French doors opening onto decks and SPACE.
Copper Gate features preservative-free Douglas Fir, low VOCs, wool insulation from our sheep, passive solar design, smart appliances and it is powered by Nelson's brilliant sun through grid-tied solar generation photovoltaics.
Wander our open spaces, enjoying the birdlife and native trees. Grab a lemon from the spray-free orchard for your G&T on the deck, or enjoy a delicious grapefruit for breakfast.
Set in cycling heaven amongst quiet country roads winding through olive groves and vineyards, The Paris Suite has ample room for cycles – you could use our standard bikes. Tasman’s Great Taste Trail is right here. Catch the cycle ferry to Rabbit Island. It’s an easy ride to Mapua seaside village with its cafes, artisans and stunning inlet, and use our tour maps for exploring right from the farm gate.

Guests love the space of 7 acres yet the famous Māpua seaside village and Wharf with its craft brewery, cafes, boutique shops, and beaches are just 3 minutes away. Three national parks are within an hour. Cycling the popular Great Taste Trail or exploring the olive groves, wineries, and quiet country roads behind the house is a delight. Abel Tasman and Nelson are just 30 minutes away.
Adele and Roger live in NZ's best locale! We are passionate about the environment, the outdoors and enjoying the good things in life. Roger is an ex-outdoor instructor and teacher; Adele is an ex-corporate trainer and runs resilience workshops for women.
