Reviews

Wonderful place to stay. Very peaceful and relaxing. Lovely authentic place. Very lovely and warm family. The meal we had supplied was better than most Restaurants. Would love to stay there again.

We absolutely loved our stay. The cottage is perfect, and you have turned it into a gem. Your decor choice so pertains to the cottage era. Any guest lucky enough to enjoy a stay here, will be most fortunate. We intend to return again. Thank you for your gracious hospitality, we so appreciated your efforts.

About your host, becks

becks's Photo

The Cottage has recently been refurbished as it had been abandoned for a number of years. It is situated near the homestead on a 410ha Sheep and Beef farm. From the top of the farm you see the wild west coast and when looking south you see Mt Karioi the backdrop of Raglan. Becks & Tom have 3 wee men, of whom all go to the local primary school nearby. They are often seen on their motorbikes or mountain bikes and helping out on the farm. They are sure to ask if you want to feed a lamb or two in the Spring! We enjoy our country life and would love to share it with you.

Questions and Answers

Question: Just checking to see if the cottage is pet friendly?
asked by Gem on 07/10/2023 17:20

Answer: Hi there, Yes we don't mind pets coming as well. But we do have farm dogs around the place and just ask that if you are bringing a dog to keep them close by as we don't want them chasing stock. Many thanks Becks
